Job Summary
Collaborate with senior leaders and lobbyists to prepare briefs, presentations, and documents while monitoring legislative, regulatory, and news developments within your team's focus area. Provide vital support to company-wide leaders on government-related matters, including advocacy outreach to federal, state, and local governments, as well as pivotal stakeholders. Engage in dialogue with visionaries to explore strategic trajectories, participate in grassroots campaigns, and address global challenges through philanthropy and community impact. Work onsite at Boeing facilities in Arlington, VA, or other locations, with some roles requiring U.S. citizenship or security clearance. This summer internship offers a unique opportunity to shape policy and advance sustainability strategies within the aerospace industry.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program with an anticipated graduation date on or after August 2027
- Availability for full-time work spanning 10-12 weeks during the summer of 2027
- Strong research skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to juggle multiple projects with finesse
- 100% onsite availability
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (for specific roles)
- U.S. Citizenship (for Security Clearance roles)
- US Person status as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 (US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
- Ability to meet Export Control compliance requirements
Desired Qualifications
- A fervent passion for the aerospace industry
- A history of academic distinction (GPA of 3.0 or higher)
- Previous internships, work experiences, or involvement with student/civic organizations
- Pursuing a major in public policy, political science, economics, international relations, finance, or a related field
