Job Summary

Support and collaborate with Communications, Boeing Global Engagement team members, business unit, and functional team members, including leadership. Write, edit, and develop messages, stories, and speeches; create website and social media content; and provide event management support for community sponsorships. Assist with the development and execution of strategic communications plans and branding strategies to support enterprise and business unit goals. Apply advanced communications techniques to contribute to internal and external deliverables for employees and leaders. Be available to work some weekend days throughout the summer in support of sponsorship activations. This 100% onsite role spans 10-12 weeks during the summer of 2027 in Washington, DC, St Louis, MO, or Washington state. Candidates must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program with an anticipated graduation date on or after August 2027.

Required Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program with an anticipated graduation date on or after August 2027
  • Availability for full-time work spanning 10-12 weeks during the summer of 2027
  • Must have strong writing, editing, social and digital communications skills
  • strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
  • US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 (US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
  • Must meet Export Control compliance requirements
  • Must be available to work some weekend days throughout the summer in support of sponsorship activations
  • Must be able to work onsite
  • Must be able to work onsite at one of the listed location options (Washington, DC, St Louis, MO, and Washington state)
  • Must be a 1st Shift worker

Desired Qualifications

  • MBA candidates or Masters in related disciplines preferred
  • Strong academic performance (GPA of 3.0 or above)
  • Previous internships or work experience and/or involvement with student or civic organizations
  • Passion for the aerospace industry and interest and enthusiasm for a career with Boeing
