Job Summary
Assembler / Sub Assembly Fastener position under BPET program. Perform rework, repairs, pickups, functional checks, and authorized changes; select parts, materials, and tools; follow drawings and procedures; use precision measuring instruments; perform bonding/sealing operations, riveting, drilling, reaming, and forming of sheet metal parts; assemble subassemblies and install mechanical accessories; manage material movement in the workspace; work onsite in Auburn, WA as part of a manufacturing team focused on quality and safety. Primary eligibility requires completion of a Boeing BPET course; 100% onsite employment; English proficiency required; position is 100% onsite and subject to export-control requirements; US Person status required; shift may vary; pay ranges from $24.32/hour to $53.30/hour under applicable collective bargaining terms. Offer includes standard Boeing total rewards but relocation is not negotiable and candidates must live locally or relocate at their own expense.
Required Qualifications
- Be a student or recent graduate of a certified Boeing Pre-Employment Training (BPET) course
- Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8-hour shift
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
- High school graduate or GED preferred
- Relocation: candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense
- Export Control: must meet US Person requirements
