Job Summary
BOE Solution Architect SME sought to partner with programs, solution architects, and stakeholders to provide BOE leadership, end-to-end BOE development, staffing rationale, models, and data-driven solutioning for federal and defense programs. Responsibilities include estimation and solutioning support on large complex proposals using metric data, analyzing data models and parametric data, and delivering data-backed recommendations and visuals. The role uses AI, data metrics, and automation tools to inform strategic decisions, collaborates across divisions to inform solutions for Defense, Intel, Federal Civilian and Federal Health customers, and relies on experience with machine learning models, data visualizations, and Agile practices. Requires 15+ years of experience, US citizenship, and an active Secret clearance with potential TS, and a hybrid work arrangement in Falls Church or Herndon, VA. The position emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and precise communication, with a focus on BOE/Rationale, staffing estimation, and enterprise IT solutioning across large programs and federal domains.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship required
- Active Secret clearance required to be considered and ability to obtain Top Secret (TS) in future if required
- Bachelor's degree in STEM fields (IT, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering) or Business degree, or equivalent combination of work experience, certification and training
- 15+ years of related work experience
- 5+ years experience in Program Management or Technical delivery on DoW, Intel and other federal programs – large complex Enterprise IT Solutions (AI, data, data centers, cloud, networks, quantum, etc.)
- 3+ years experience as a Solution Architect related to Enterprise IT
- Experience in Staffing Estimation for large complex Enterprise IT programs, including BOE, Staffing Rationale and related documents
- Depth of experience with Excel, data analysis, building/using parametric models for analysis and reporting
- Experience with SharePoint, Salesforce and using AI tools (ChatGPT, etc.)
- Strong leadership, communication and mentorship skills; ability to collaborate across levels
- Excellent collaboration, learning/adapting, strategy; strong oral and written communication, critical thinking and problem solving
- Ability to write clearly and precisely with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (M365, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Location: Hybrid work schedule in Falls Church or Herndon, VA
- Clearance: Active Secret required to be considered, ability to obtain TS after hired (or higher if required)
- Preferred Certification: ITIL certification or equivalent process/PM certification (highly preferred)
