Job Summary
Body Technician for Auto Body Collision Repair responsible for restoring vehicles to original manufacturer specifications. Responsibilities include assessing exterior damage, completing disassembly, refitting bolt-on and welded parts (bumpers, fenders, grills, moldings), ensuring repairs meet OE standards and ADAS calibration requirements, verifying part accuracy, performing chassis/frame measurements, and guiding an assigned apprentice. Must read vehicle RO items, work efficiently to meet delivery targets, protect non-repair areas during repair, and comply with safety and 5S standards. Skilled welding and ability to understand and execute written instructions are essential; role involves guidance and education to support developmental growth, with emphasis on quality metrics (CSI, cycle time, NPS) and adherence to company SOPs. Extended hours may be required to accommodate workload.
