Job Summary
Body Technician responsible for auto body collision repair to OEM standards, DRP part choices, and ADAS calibration/scanning. Tasks include complete disassembly of vehicles, refitting bolt-on and welded parts, restoring panels and alignments to manufacturer specifications, verifying part accuracy, and notifying the estimator of discrepancies. Ensure repairs meet quality targets and delivery timelines, protect vehicle interiors/exteriors, mentor assigned apprentice, and participate in ongoing training. Demonstrates safety awareness and 5S organization; may extend hours to accommodate workload and customer requirements while maintaining high Customer Service Index and Cycle Time Efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- I-CAR Gold Class
- ASE certification (preferred)
- Complete understanding of all facets of light to heavy automobile collision repair
