Body Shop Technician

Job Summary
Review repair estimates and parts orders, then plan and execute body shop repairs on damaged trucks, vans, and buses. Operate welding equipment, metal-cutting guns, and air grinders to remove dents and fit replacement parts. Perform alignment work on frames and sections using hydraulic machines, and test drive vehicles to verify proper handling. Sand, prime, and mask repaired areas for paint quality before inspecting final work. Requires an associate's degree or two years of experience, with a pre-employment background check and drug screening contingent upon hiring.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a fully accredited two-year college or technical school
- Minimum of two years related experience and/or training
- Position requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, drive, reach, bend, twist, squat, climb, push/pull, taste/smell, talk, hearing/listening and lifting up to 75 lbs
- This position is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening
