Body Shop Technician

Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards, checking parts against estimates to ensure proper ordering and receipt. Prepares vehicles for body repair work while notifying management of additional repairs needed or any difficulties preventing quality performance. Maintains tools and equipment in proper repair and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including a respirator. Complies with federal, state, and local regulations affecting body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know, reporting deviations to management. Cooperates with other personnel in repair and prepping. Operates all tools and equipment safely. Earn between $75,000 and $130,000 per year.
