Job Summary
Repair assigned heavy-duty truck vehicles according to estimates and timeframes while completing repair order documentation. Maintain tools and equipment, communicate with the parts department for required components, and keep the workspace organized by returning all materials to designated areas. Work in a high-volume environment following safety procedures, collaborating individually and with other mechanics to advance within the Body Shop. This role offers excellent growth opportunities for a quality-minded team player with at least one year of heavy-duty truck experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a Heavy Duty Truck Body Shop environment
- Working knowledge of all aspects of repairs for damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles
- Applicant must be extremely quality minded with a strong work ethic
- Thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- 9-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Possible overtime
Desired Qualifications
- Paint shop experience
- Aluminum and/or stainless steel welding
