Job Summary
Body Shop Technician responsible for performing body shop repairs, vehicle preparation, and make-ready processes for trucks and equipment, ensuring compliance with company standards, manufacturer guidelines, and regulations. Read repair orders and technical specifications, diagnose damage, select repair solutions, and document work accurately. Operate hand and power tools, welding equipment (MIG/TIG/stick), and body shop machinery with attention to safety and quality. Must be able to work independently or in a team and hold a valid driver's license. Prefer experience with heavy-duty truck body repair, welding, frame alignment, and familiarity with Freightliner/Western Star trucks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Experience performing heavy-duty truck body repairs, diesel truck body repairs, automotive body repairs, and/or aviation body repairs including metal fabrication, panel replacement, dent repair, body filler application, and surface preparation.
