Body Shop Technicians begin the exterior finishing process by prepping components for primer and painting. Responsibilities include applying body filler, sanding, and using air tools to inspect and repair aircraft components. Required Qualifications
- Minimum one-year related experience using bondo or other surface filler
- Ability to develop relationships and utilize interpersonal skills
- Reliable and dependable work ethic
- Ability to read drawings/blue prints
- Knowledge of basic tools
Desired Qualifications
- Auto/marine mechanic and/or collision repair experience
- Basic assembly tasks experience
- Military experience in a non-mechanical discipline
- Surface preparation skills
- Fine detail carpentry skills
- Construction/DIY experience
- Experience in fast-paced work environments
