Job Summary
Perform full body restoration and paint on trucks involved in collisions, including fiber glass work, while maintaining tools and equipment in a safe manner. Assess and repair trucks using a wide range of tools, applying critical thinking to determine repair methods. Requires five years of body shop technician experience, PPG painter certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must have free range of motion in hands and arms for small parts and spaces, with strong attention to detail and customer service skills. Full-time hourly position with competitive pay ranging from $30 to $38.
Required Qualifications
- More the five (5) years of experience of body shop technician
- Certified PPG Painter
- Ability to use wide range of tools and equipment to assess and repair trucks
- Free range of motion in their hands and arms to work with small parts and small spaces
- Attention to detail
- Customer service skills
- Critical thinking skills to assess damage and determine how to make repairs
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to pass post-offer drug screening, physical examination (including a lift test), and background check
