Job Summary
Body Shop Technician for Jackson Group Peterbilt with an apprenticeship pathway and ongoing training. The role involves collision repairs, body and frame modifications, custom paint, and component installation on class 5-8 trucks, using state-of-the-art tools in a clean, climate-controlled shop. The position offers an apprenticeship program for entry-level technicians, opportunities for continuous advanced training, competitive pay, health insurance, PTO, a 401K with employer contribution, and other benefits including annual bonuses and referral incentives. The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, at least 2 years of hands-on experience in truck collision/body/paint repair or related field, good communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work safely in a team environment; CDL preferred and pre-employment screening required.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude with the desire to become a top technician
- Experience of 2 years class 5-8 truck collision, body, and paint repair or related field
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to learn
- Willingness to work safely and use approved personal protective equipment
- Basic computer skills
- Possess valid drivers license, CDL drivers license preferred
- Willingness to work in a team environment
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening to include: background, driving record, and drug
