Job Summary
Body Shop Technician focused on collision repair of automotive vehicles, including inspection of damaged bodies, removal of upholstery and panels to access body components, dent removal, frame straightening, refinishing, and paint application; requires ability to operate safety PPE, comply with OSHA policies, and possess or obtain relevant safety certifications. The role emphasizes strong communication, physical endurance, and hands-on repair of components and assemblies, with emphasis on repairing or replacing defective mechanical parts and ensuring high-quality finishes. Required Qualifications
- One-year certificate from a college or technical school or three months of related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combinations of experience and/or training may be considered
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
- Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
- Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience: OSHA or other relevant safety certifications
