Job Summary
Perform intermediate-level repairs on vehicle body components, including dent removal, panel replacement, and light structural work. Conduct prep work for refinishing such as sanding, masking, and priming, while assisting with disassembly and reassembly of vehicles as needed. Use diagnostic tools to assess damage and determine repair requirements, collaborating with estimators and insurance representatives to ensure accuracy. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols, and stay updated on industry repair techniques through ongoing training. Schedule includes Monday-Friday hours with hourly pay ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually for full-time members.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in auto body repair or a related field
- B-level skills in collision repair
- Knowledge of body shop tools and equipment, including hand tools, sanders, and welders
- Basic understanding of vehicle systems and repair procedures
