Job Summary
Parts Assistant supports the flow of parts and supplies through the collision repair process by receiving, inspecting, organizing, and coordinating with vendors and technicians; assists with returns and inventory management, and communicates ETAs and part status to estimators and technicians. Responsibilities include checking in deliveries, verifying accuracy, staging parts, processing cores and returns, documenting with drivers, tracking orders, resolving damaged/missing parts, and maintaining shop-supply organization; also assists with invoice entry/scanning and maintaining the warehouse area. Requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication in a fast-paced shop environment. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, automotive parts terminology knowledge, computer proficiency, a valid driver's license, and ability to pass a background check.
