Job Summary
Perform repair and inspection work on trucks per instruction sheets, diagnose malfunctions, communicate needed additional repairs to the Service Manager/Shop Foreman, and complete work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency. Must use safety equipment, conduct road tests when required, document work on labor tickets, and punch tickets at the start and end of each operation. This is a full-time role with a comprehensive benefits package and bonus eligibility. The position requires obtaining or possessing a Commercial Driver's License and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs; familiarity with body shop tools and having adequate hand tools is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Commercial Driver's License or ability to obtain
- Ability to drive class 8 trucks
- Must be capable of lifting 100 lbs
- Knowledge and expertise in using and operating special body shop tools
- Adequate hand tools to perform daily duties as prescribed by the Service Manager/Shop Foreman
