Body Shop Advisor

Job Summary
Create positive initial contacts with body shop customers and handle all phone calls professionally and expediently. Open work orders, discuss service issues to create accurate descriptions, and send professional estimates including parts and labor. Collaborate with shop foremen to schedule repairs, determine payment methods, and maintain communication throughout the repair process. Close repair orders while ensuring complete knowledge of OEM and vendor warranties. Perform all tasks per Standard Operating Procedures, including sitting, standing, bending, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Work in a dealership environment with frequent weather exposure, willing to work up to 12 hours daily and extend hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in a dealership environment with frequent exposure to weather elements
- Willingness and ability to work up to 12 hours per day as required
- Ability to sell body shop work
- Ability to work with customers in a variety of situations
- Good writing and communication skills
- Sufficient computer skills
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop and lift/move up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis
- Ability to work in an environment to include 8-12 hour days, and flexibility to extend working hours when necessary
