Job Summary
Monitor flow of raw materials through the body prep process, unloading them from railcars and transporting them to storage bins. Load materials into hoppers and oversee their movement through ball mills and spray dryers. Perform quality control tests to ensure specifications are met and document results. Report equipment or process problems to the supervisor while adhering to standard operating procedures. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Work the D shift from Wednesday midnight to Saturday morning, lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Ability to understand and speak basic English
- Good oral communications skills
- Good listening skills
- Ability to routinely work at a height that requires fall protection
- Close vision
- Peripheral vision
- Ability to adjust focus
