Job Summary
Fellowship-trained Body Imaging Radiologist to practice the full scope of body imaging across modalities (CT, MRI, ultrasound, plain film, fluoroscopic GI/GU exams, and image-guided procedures) within UVA Health's Community Division. Role combines busy clinical service (approximately 90–95%) with 5–10% administrative/service activities. Responsibilities include interpreting a broad range of body imaging studies, contributing to quality improvement and workflow optimization, participating in multidisciplinary tumor boards, collaborating with referring physicians and technologists, sharing in the division’s clinical schedule and call responsibilities, and engaging in recruitment/marketing efforts while promoting a culture of collegiality and patient-centered care. Requirements include an MD or DO, fellowship in Body Imaging, board eligible/certified in Diagnostic Radiology, and eligibility for Virginia licensure. Located in the Northern Virginia region with integration to UVA’s academic radiology department and the UVA Community Health network.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree; board certified/eligible in Diagnostic Radiology; Fellowship training in Body Imaging; Eligibility for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
