Job Summary
Academic Body Imager position in Tufts Medical Center’s Radiology department. Responsibilities include interpretation of body CT, MRI, ultrasound, plain films, and GI fluoroscopy; interventional radiology not required; participation in multidisciplinary and educational conferences; supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows; involvement in research and quality improvement projects; and remote weekend on-call duties with home workstations provided. Academic rank (Assistant/Associate/Professor) commensurate with accomplishments; visa support available; leadership opportunities in education and administration; state-of-the-art imaging equipment and a Boston-area academic setting with potential for accelerated promotion for exceptional CVs.
Required Qualifications
- MD, DO, MBBS or equivalent degree
- Board eligibility/certification by ABR or AOBR
- Expertise in multimodality body imaging including cancer and transplant imaging (especially liver transplant)
- Medical licensure or eligibility in Massachusetts
- Visa support (H1B, O-1, and J-1 waiver position) available for suitable candidates
- Diversity of background welcomed; alternate ABR pathway accepted
