Job Summary
Body Imager role in Tufts Medical Center Radiology involves routine clinical interpretation of body CT, MRI, Ultrasound, plain films, and fluoroscopic GI studies (8:00 AM–5:00 PM). Interventional radiology is performed by IR and not required for body imagers. Opportunities include participation in multidisciplinary and educational conferences, supervising medical students, residents, and fellows, and engaging in research and quality improvement projects. Weekend on-call duties are remote with home workstations provided; additional internal moonlighting is voluntary. Administrative and academic time are provided commensurate with responsibilities. Academic rank is Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, with accelerated promotion possible for exceptional CVs. Leadership opportunities in medical education, residency/fellowship training, and administration are offered. State-of-the-art imaging capabilities (multiple MRI/CT scanners, ultrasound machines) support clinical and research activities. Visa sponsorship is available; salary range is $440,000–$535,000 annually depending on experience, education, and rank.
Required Qualifications
- MD, DO, MBBS or equivalent
- Board eligibility/Board certification by ABR or AOBR
- Medical licensure or eligibility in Massachusetts
- Expertise in multimodality body imaging including cancer and transplant imaging (liver transplant)
- Visa support available (H1B, O-1, J-1 waiver position)
