Job Summary
Body Imager sought to join Tufts Medical Center's Radiology Department as an academic physician and educator. Responsibilities include routine interpretation of body CT, MRI, ultrasound, plain films, and GI fluoroscopic studies (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) with IR procedures performed by IR and not required for body imagers; participation in multidisciplinary conferences and teaching activities; supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows; participation in research and quality improvement projects; and potential weekend on-call duties with remote home workstations provided. Academic rank at Assistant/Associate/Professor level commensurate with accomplishments; leadership opportunities in medical education and residency/fellowship training. Facilities include state-of-the-art MRI/CT/ultrasound equipment. Visa-eligible and candidate-friendly environment with emphasis on academic productivity, teaching, and clinical work-based incentives. Salary range $440,000–$535,000 annually; Boston area location (Cambridge, MA). Requirements include an MD/DO/MBBS or equivalent, ABR/AOBR board eligibility or certification, expertise in multimodality body imaging (cancer/transplant imaging), Massachusetts licensure or eligibility, and visa sponsorship availability.
Required Qualifications
- MD, DO, MBBS or equivalent degree
- Board eligibility/Board certification by ABR or AOBR
- Expertise in all aspects of multimodality body imaging including cancer imaging and transplant imaging (especially liver transplant)
- Massachusetts medical licensure or eligibility
