Job Summary
Lead Data Engineer to own EDW solutions end-to-end, designing, architecting, and optimizing scalable, secure data pipelines using SAP BODS, IBM DataStage, Redwood, SQL, and Oracle. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining EDW architectures, ETL/ELT workflow design and optimization, data modeling (Star/Snowflake, SCD), performance tuning, and governance. Lead and mentor a data-engineering team, conduct code reviews, drive best practices, and collaborate with BI, Analytics, and Application teams to align data strategy with business goals. Strong focus on stakeholder collaboration, production issue resolution, and an enterprise-grade data engineering capability. Must-have skills include SAP BODS, SQL, and IICS; experience with Redwood scheduling and Oracle databases; bonus experience with modern cloud data platforms and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in leading technical teams
- Must-have: SAP BODS, SQL, IICS
