Job Summary
Bodily Injury & Homeowners Liability Adjuster responsible for investigating and confirming facts of loss for advanced automobile claims, determining coverage, liability and damages, and negotiating claims within authority. Role emphasizes handling advanced auto claims with emphasis on bodily injury, homeowner liability, and related investigations; requires understanding of policy language, subrogation/fraud potential assessment, and a pathway to specialty positions (e.g., Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Total Loss, Initial/Extended Handler). Strong emphasis on customer needs, effective communication, organizational skills, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Familiarity with EPIC is a plus and auto-litigation experience is preferred. Compensation varies by level and experience; base ranges from $50,000 to $124,500 plus incentive/bonus where applicable. Remote-capable position across multiple U.S. states with no visa sponsorship, offering home-based work with connectivity support.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in bodily injury claims
- Experience with homeowner liability claims
- Knowledge of auto insurance claims processes
- EPIC knowledge is a plus
- Auto litigation experience preferred
- Ability to investigate and adjust advanced auto claims with discretion within authority
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills
