Job Summary
Bobtail/Flatbed Driver responsible for loading and delivering lubricant products locally in a safe, compliant manner. Duties include loading/unloading, operating a commercial vehicle under DOT rules, maintaining electronic driving logs and Vehicle Inspection Reports, coordinating with dispatch, and delivering courteous, professional service. Requires CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 21 years old, current Medical Examiner's certificate, knowledge of cargo securing, and the ability to lift and move heavy loads with strong communication and safety focus. Some weekends on call.
Required Qualifications
- CDL License - Hazmat & Tanker Endorsements REQUIRED
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Possession of a current Medical Examiner's certificate
- Knowledge of procedures to secure cargo in or on a commercial vehicle
- Good communication skills and detail oriented
- Physical ability to load/offload packages weighing 20-60 pounds and 55-gallon drums 450-600 pounds
- Load and unload capabilities
- Maintenance of electronic driving log
- Completing electronic Vehicle Inspection Report
- Communicating with dispatch
- Delivering lubricant products to customers
- Operate vehicle in compliance with company policy and federal regulations
- Load and unload product with cargo safety in mind
