Job Summary
Perform advanced electrical installation, including panel wiring, routing wire drops, buss bars, system troubleshooting, and gauge calibration. Install and connect key vessel systems such as fuel, oil, control, exhaust, and water lines per specifications. Fabricate and install custom components like panels and brackets while aligning steering systems per OEM guidelines. Read blueprints and schematics to ensure all work meets ABYC standards in a production environment. This role requires a minimum of four years of boat upfitting or marine assembly experience. Compensation is $23-$28/hour based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 4 years of boat upfitting or marine assembly experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Experience using hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing setting
- Familiarity with marine systems and rigging practices
- Must be able to successfully pass drug screening and background check
