Job Summary
Engage all customers entering the department in a friendly manner, determine their boating or ATV needs, and provide information necessary for informed buying decisions. Maintain current product knowledge, advertised items, and pricing structures while adhering to all selling skills training. Prepare the showroom each morning to ensure proper signage and product cleanliness, then generate and manage leads in the CRM tool by documenting follow-up activities. Meet with potential customers to facilitate seamless delivery through cooperation with the Service Department, accurately complete all necessary paperwork, and maintain complete confidentiality of sensitive information. Achieve pre-determined individual monthly sales goals based on employment status and historical sales data. Maintain a clean, professional work area and follow all company policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent experience
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and percentages
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
- Ability to operate computer system & Point of Sale register system
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and percentages
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
- Ability to operate computer system & Point of Sale register system
