Job Summary
Greet all customers entering the department and engage them to determine their boating or ATV needs. Meet with potential customers to provide information necessary for informed buying decisions while maintaining current product knowledge through brochures, the Internet, and training meetings. Prepare the showroom each morning for proper signage and ensure all products are clean and presentable throughout the day. Generate and manage leads in the CRM tool by entering new customers and documenting follow-up activities. Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, and work cooperatively with the Service Department for seamless delivery. Meet and exceed pre-determined individual monthly sales goals based on employment status and historical sales data.
Required Qualifications
- High School education
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and percentages
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
- Ability to operate computer system & Point of Sale register system
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Stands for extended periods
- Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation
- Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems
- Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments
- Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices
- Meets and exceeds pre-determined individual monthly sales goals
- Achieving company sales goals on a monthly basis is required
- Maintains a clean and professional work area
- Follows all Company Policies and Procedures
