Job Summary
Boat Rigger responsible for mounting outboard motors, routine boat servicing, installation of electrical and mechanical components, boat detailing, assisting with mechanical tasks, and general shop duties. Requires mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools; strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills; attention to detail; ability to work independently or in a team; valid driver’s license; forklift certification is a plus. Willingness to work in various physical conditions. Apprentice program sponsorship and opportunities for training and development are offered; located at the Dueck Boats Service Centre in Richmond, BC, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and potential for extended hours to meet deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hand/power tools
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Willingness to work in various physical conditions
