Job Summary
Operate work boats in marine construction or dredging environments to anticipate crew needs and facilitate equipment movement. Prepare tools, maintain vessel equipment in good working order, and ensure the boat is clean and stocked with supplies. Complete daily maintenance logs and assist with washing, maintenance, and alignment of machinery as assigned. Comply with safety practices and report unsafe conditions per company procedures. Maintain work areas and organize tools while working outside in all weather conditions. Requires 3 to 5 years of dredging or marine construction experience, a valid driver's license, and ability to travel.
Required Qualifications
- at least 3 to 5 years of Dredging or Marine Construction Experience
- Must be able to travel
- Provide own tools besides specialty tools like a welder, compressor, etc...
- A Valid Driver's License is required to be maintained throughout your employment
- Must be able to work outside for entire shift in all weather conditions (hot, humid, cold, wet)
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA Certification a Plus
- Boating or Equipment Certifications a plus
