Job Summary
Operate and maintain work boats in marine construction or dredging environments, preparing tools and equipment for crew members while facilitating alignment and movement of machinery. Maintain all vessel equipment in good working order, ensuring the boat remains clean, well-stocked with supplies and spare parts, and complete the mandatory Daily Boat Maintenance Log/Checklist. Comply with safety practices and reporting procedures while keeping work areas organized. Assist with washing, maintenance, and performing other assigned duties as needed. Requires 3 to 5 years of dredging or marine construction experience, ability to travel, and a valid driver's license. Must work outside in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- at least 3 to 5 years of Dredging or Marine Construction Experience
- Must be able to travel
- Provide own tools besides specialty tools like a welder, compressor, etc...
- A Valid Driver's License is required to be maintained throughout your employment
- Must be able to work outside for entire shift in all weather conditions (hot, humid, cold, wet)
