Job Summary
Construct boat tarps and related products according to specifications using sewing machines, fabrication equipment, and hand tools. Create, inspect, and alter components while performing preventative maintenance to keep tools and equipment in good working condition. Read and interpret blueprints to ensure quality alterations and modifications are completed accurately. Operate assigned machinery and make basic quality decisions under general supervision. This full-time or part-time role at Timpte's Lincoln Marine location includes training, an annual bonus, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use a sewing machine
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Knowledge to operate machines, hand tools, tape measures and other equipment
- Ability to work with general supervision and make basic quality decisions
Desired Qualifications
- Prior manufacturing experience helpful
