Job Summary
Provide extraordinary guest experience by offering friendly and courteous service as well as a safe boating experience. Responsibilities include preparing the boathouse for the day, assisting guests with boat rentals, loading/unloading guests, maintaining boat and dock cleanliness, weekly upkeep of boats, assisting in dining and common areas, and promoting a positive, teamwork-driven work environment. Must be available to work weekends and be able to work independently with little supervision; strong communication in English is required. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; prior customer service experience preferred. Must be able to lift 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally. Follow all safety procedures when handling the boat fleet and inform guests of safety expectations in a professional manner.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six months customer service and/or food and beverage experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
