Job Summary
Develop and execute provincial board sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share objectives while building relationships with government wholesalers and key decision-makers. Lead annual business planning, negotiate listings and pricing, and manage customer expectations as the primary contact for assigned provincial boards. Coordinate product submissions for new launches, analyze category trends, and develop accurate sales forecasts aligned with supply chain demand. Monitor inventory levels, track KPIs including gross margin and distribution gains, and present market intelligence and growth recommendations to senior leadership. Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and Finance to maximize market penetration and ensure compliance. This full-time remote role in British Columbia requires a Bachelor's degree and 5–8+ years of progressive sales experience within the Canadian cannabis or highly regulated industry.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field
- 5–8+ years of progressive sales or key account management experience
- Demonstrated experience managing provincial board or government wholesale accounts
- Proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Knowledge of health Canada cannabis regulations and provincial compliance requirements
- Exceptional presentation and communication skill in both French and English
- This is a full-time position remotely based out of British Columbia
- The chosen applicant will be required to successfully complete background and reference checks
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working within the Canadian cannabis industry, beverage alcohol, CPG, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated industries preferred
