Job Summary

Board Design Engineer to design and develop multi-layer high-speed PCBs for advanced medical systems. Responsibilities include selecting components, schematic design, power management circuit design (DC-DC converters, power distribution), analog circuit design, EMC/EMI testing support, board bring-up, lab debugging, and troubleshooting HW/FW issues. You will support high-speed interfaces (DDR4/DDR5, PCIe, Ethernet), Base (IB) activities, NPI tasks, and lifecycle management. Collaborate with PCBA vendors, search for component alternatives, manage ECOs in PLM, and ensure design for manufacturability. Requires strong SI/PI understanding, digital/analog circuit design experience, lab debugging skills, and familiarity with design tools like Siemens EDM or Xpedition. Office-based role with in-person presence at least 3 days per week; onsite in Haifa, Israel. Equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 7+ years of board design experience
  • Experience with high-speed interfaces (DDR4/DDR5, PCIe, Ethernet)
  • SI/PI understanding
  • Lab debugging with oscilloscopes/signal analyzers
  • Familiarity with PLM tools (Windchill)
  • Experience with PCB design tools (Siemens EDM/Xpedition)
  • Knowledge of thermal design and power optimization
  • Experience with FPGA-based systems (nice to have)
  • Experience in regulated industries (medical devices) (nice to have)

Desired Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in board design
  • multidisciplinary product experience
  • experience with Siemens EDM/Xpedition
  • strong knowledge of Signal Integrity and Power Integrity
  • digital, power, and analog circuit design
  • lab debugging and root-cause analysis skills
  • experience with DDR design constraints/validation
  • PLM tools experience, Windchill preferred
  • FPGA-based systems experience a plus
  • medical devices or regulated industry background a plus
