Job Summary
Board Design Engineer responsible for designing and developing multi-layer high-speed PCBs for advanced medical systems. Role includes defining layout constraints, component selection, schematic design, power management circuits (including DC-DC converters and PD), analog circuit design, EMC/EMI testing support, and leading board bring-up, validation, and lab debugging. Requires strong experience in SI/PI, DDR4/DDR5, PCIe, Ethernet, PLM tools (Windchill), and collaboration with PCBA vendors; onsite involvement with in-person presence at least 3 days per week in Haifa, Israel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 7+ years of board design experience
- Deep understanding of Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI)
- Experience in digital circuits design, power design, and analog circuit design
- Experience with DDR design constraints and validation
- Familiarity with PLM tools, especially Windchill
- Strong lab debugging & root-cause analysis skills using oscilloscopes and signal analyzers
- Experience with high-speed interfaces such as DDR4/DDR5, PCIe, and Ethernet
- Experience with lab debugging and field investigations
- Experience with Siemens EDM / Xpedition (preferred)
