Job Summary
Board-certified Pulmonologist needed for Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) on a contract basis in Richmond, VA. Responsibilities include thorough medical record review, in-person evaluations of patients with Pulmonology issues, responding to clinical queries to support claims management, and delivering detailed IME reports within a 5-day turnaround. This is an independent contractor (1099) role with flexible scheduling; no doctor/patient relationship is established and no treatment is provided. Fully prepped cases and streamlined case flow are supported, with a user-friendly work portal.
Required Qualifications

- Previous experience in performing IMEs is preferred
