Job Summary
Conduct new patient admissions including physicals, diagnosis confirmation, and treatment plan implementation. Certify and recertify patient stays while rounding on current patients to update treatment plans as needed. Communicate with medical staff and APPs to ensure consistent quality care, updating patient charts and prescribing medications. Manage post-acute care in the Richmond/Lynchburg area with a flexible Monday-to-Friday schedule and no call or weekend requirements. Earn $300,000 to $500,000 annually as a 1099 contractor with provided medical liability coverage.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical university
- Board Certification in Internal or Family Medicine in good standing
- Active and unencumbered License to practice Medicine in Virginia
- Active and unencumbered DEA license
- 3 or more years of experience of bedside patient care preferably in post-acute care with experience treating co-morbidities
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
