Job Summary
Conduct new patient admissions by completing physicals, confirming diagnoses, and implementing treatment plans. Certify and recertify patient stays while rounding on current patients to update care plans as needed. Communicate with medical staff and APPs to ensure consistent quality care, update patient charts, and prescribe medications. This 1099 contractor role offers a flexible Monday-to-Friday schedule with no call or weekend requirements, compensating on RVUs at an expected income of $300,000 to $500,000 annually. Board-certified internal or family medicine physicians with three or more years of post-acute bedside experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical university
- Board Certification in Internal or Family Medicine in good standing
- Active and unencumbered License to practice Medicine in Maryland
- Active and unencumbered DEA license
- 3 or more years of experience of bedside patient care preferably in post-acute care with experience treating co-morbidities
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
