Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses within a home care context, tailoring treatment plans to individual needs. Design and implement personalized strategies using therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility. Monitor progress through meticulous tracking and documentation, reassessing patient needs regularly to update therapeutic goals. Advise patients on assistive device selection and educate caregivers on rehabilitation techniques to promote independence. Stay updated with field advancements through professional development workshops and literature review. This role supports a diverse patient population including children, adults, and the elderly at our Princeton, NJ facility.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills, including word processing and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
- A flexible and agile approach to work, with the ability to adapt to the varying needs of patients and the healthcare environment
- This full-time position
- onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Princeton, NJ
Desired Qualifications
- While prior work experience is not required, enthusiasm for continuous learning and mentoring new graduates is highly valued
- Experience with home care settings and knowledge of rehabilitation technology is a plus
