Job Summary
Board-certified orthopedic surgeon (MD/DO) licensed in Washington, contracted as an independent reviewer for L&I Independent Medical Exams. Conducts in-person IMEs across WA clinics (Bellevue, Seattle, Everett, Spokane, Vancouver). Reviews records, performs physical examinations, and completes reports addressing clinical questions per AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, Sixth Edition. Returns cases by due date, participates in peer-to-peer calls as required, and performs other duties as assigned. Independent contractor (1099) with compensation per case; no-show and late cancellation fees apply; active practice is required.
