Job Summary
Assess and manage the health status of pediatric patients through comprehensive history, physical examinations, and development of patient-centered plans. Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, interpret results, prescribe/adjust medications per collaborative protocols, and provide education on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute/chronic illnesses. Maintain and document care in medical records, develop ongoing management plans, conduct patient record reviews with collaborating physicians, advocate for patients and families, and contribute as a resource and leader to staff. Role emphasizes a patient-focused, team-based approach within Catholic Health’s pediatric practice on Long Island, with emphasis on professional development and adherence to I-CARE values.
Required Qualifications
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in General Pediatrics
- NYS License
- Active DEA License
