Job Summary
General Pediatrician sought to join Catholic Health’s established pediatric practice in Port Jefferson, NY. Responsibilities include assessing health status via history and physicals, initiating therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, prescribing and adjusting medications per collaborative practice protocols, providing health-promotion and disease-prevention counseling, documenting findings in the medical record, developing patient management plans, conducting timely chart reviews with collaborating physicians, advocating for patients and families, maintaining current professional knowledge, and serving as a resource and leader to staff. Must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in General Pediatrics, hold an NYS license, and possess an active DEA license.
