Job Summary
Board-certified Neurologist sought to join Dane Street’s independent contractor panel for IMEs in Wasco, CA. Responsibilities include in-person evaluations of patients with neurological issues, thorough medical records review, responding to clinical queries to support claims management, and delivering IME reports within a 5-day turnaround. This role is an independent contractor (1099) with flexible scheduling; no doctor/patient relationship is established and the opinions provided are advisory-only. Enhanced expertise in medical necessity, utilization review/management, and credential expansion as an IME expert are expected benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certification required.
- Previous experience in performing IMEs is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities are a plus
