Job Summary
Deliver high-quality, client-centered coaching using motivational interviewing to guide members in achieving measurable health goals, managing a caseload of 6-8 clients daily with documentation and intermittent support between sessions. Partner with the Program Lead to shape ongoing evolution of the Lifestyle Medicine program, contributing to the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of strategy, systems, and resources. Collaborate cross-functionally with physical therapists, physicians, and marketing teams to develop educational content, videos, and materials that increase engagement and support outreach efforts. Provide regular insights and trend updates to the Executive Team to drive program improvement opportunities. This NBC-HWC certified coach will work remotely with in-person days in downtown San Francisco, CA, while traveling domestically as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Current National Board Certification in Health & Wellness Coaching (NBC-HWC)
- Minimum two years demonstrated experience in health coaching and behavior change facilitation
- Strong communication and motivational interviewing skills; ability to engage diverse populations
- Proficiency in virtual/remote care delivery platforms
- Strong technical skills
- Local to the Bay Area, CA
- Ability to travel (domestic states)
Desired Qualifications
- Clinical background (e.g., RN, PA, NP, RD, or other licensed healthcare professional)
- Certification or fellowship through the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM)
- Spanish fluency is a significant advantage, enabling deeper connection with current member populations
- Prior experience in integrative, lifestyle, or functional medicine settings
- Familiarity with data-driven outcome tracking and interdisciplinary care teams
