Job Summary
Board-certified fellowship-trained Cardiothoracic Surgeon sought to join St. Francis Hospital and Heart Center in Roslyn and affiliated NY locations. Responsibilities include performing complex cardiothoracic procedures with emphasis on cardiac surgery (75%) and general thoracic surgery (25%), utilizing minimally invasive robotic techniques, treating atrial fibrillation, leading TAVR and structural heart programs, mentoring residents and staff, and advancing cardiac care initiatives with possible leadership roles at hospital/system level. Ideal candidate will have strong fellowship training, expertise in robotic-assisted surgery, and a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery (prefer Structural Cardiac Interventional Fellowship)
- Proficiency in robotic-assisted procedures
- Experience and interest in program development and innovation
