Job Summary
Provide primary, secondary, and tertiary care in both hospitalized and outpatient settings while coordinating health service personnel and educating patients and families. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower gastroenterological endoscopy, colonoscopy, liver and small bowel biopsies, polypectomy, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography. Manage additional procedures including esophageal dilation, laser ablation, gastric lavage, sclerotherapy, and endoscopic ultrasonography with fine needle aspiration. Maintain current, full, and unrestricted medical licensure. Board certified or eligible in Gastroenterology with three to five years of experience and fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified/Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine (Residency)
- Three to five years of Gastroenterologist experience
- Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia
