Job Summary
Provide comprehensive cardiology care to patients by diagnosing and treating a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac monitoring, while developing and managing individualized treatment plans. Educate patients on heart health, disease prevention, and treatment options through effective collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation for all cases. This role is with The VA Northern California Healthcare System, supported by Posterity Group LLC, a veteran-owned small business specializing in federal government contracting.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiology
- Fellowship training in Cardiology (Residency)
- Three to five years of Cardiologist experience
- Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia
