Job Summary
Conduct timely functional behavioral assessments and develop behavioral intervention plans for children in the Autism program. Prepare Positive Behavior Support and Management Plans, train staff in their administration, and reassess plans as needed. Supervise Assistant Behavior Specialist(s) and/or Resource Specialist(s) assigned to the program. Collaborate with education and treatment teams to serve as a resource for teachers, staff, and families regarding behavior support. Complete data collection and analysis using computer software including Microsoft Excel. This role requires a Master's degree in applied behavior analysis and current BCBA licensure. Candidates must possess 2-3 years of behavior assessment and management experience with persons with developmental disabilities and/or autism. The position offers a salary range of $58,401.82 to $90,195.04/year, comprehensive benefits including tuition reimbursement and a 403b match, and is located at Sheppard Pratt School in Hunt Valley.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in applied behavior analysis, behavioral psychology, special education or closely related field of study
- 2-3 years' behavior assessment and management experience with assigned patient population and persons with developmental disabilities and/or autism
- BCBA at the time of appointment and continuously while in the position
